Another amazing Wedding Venue and another amazing Bride and Groom. Having first met as teenagers in a Rock Club in Plymouth Dannielle and Andrew reconnected many years later and their love story began. Friends and family travelled from al over the UK to celebrate the Rock themed festival style Wedding at the amazing Port Eliot in Cornwall as the summer was drawing to an end. Spending his days shooting the biggest names in Rock Music for Kerrang Magazine and other notable publications it was great shooting for someone who is as passionate about photography as I am. And shares some of the same heroes.
With the girls occupying the main house for their morning celebrations the boys opted for mobile homes as their on-site preparations. With every Wedding day time keeping is usually the biggest challenge leading up to the Ceremony and with a morning of moving hay bails, hammering in tent pegs and setting up the PA system Andy had a large audience by the time he’d gotten out of the shower with guests parking adjacent to the mobile home.
With the guests congregating in the jaw dropping Orangery within the Port’s grounds as the sun was trying to break through, Dannielle and her Father made their way through the walled garden towards a sea of teary eyes. The intimate Ceremony was filled with emotion, highlighting their love for one another as they became Man and Wife. The cocktail hour gave the guests a chance to catch up with old friends whilst sampling some of the most incredible canapés I’ve every tried.
As the late afternoon rolled on the party made their way to the Marquee which was nestled away on the edge of woodland next to a lake. More amazing food followed by deeply emotional and seriously funny speeches which further delved into and emphasised the love that this amazing couple have for each other. The only thing left to do now was PARTY! A fast paced first dance followed by hours of the best play list I’ve heard in years, this is how you throw a party!
